Tangled Purls

Gather • Inspire • Create

We have a passion for beautiful yarn…the colors, the textures, and the feel of it in our hands. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel our passion, and be inspired by our fresh contemporary displays, confident that we will nurture and encourage each of them to stretch their skills and grow.

Important Announcement

“To everything there is a season…” The last nine years have been an amazing journey, creating a yarn shop dream, growing a community of friendships, and sharing a passion with others who have the same enthusiasm for fiber crafts.

I have loved getting to know all of you, and it is with gratitude that I thank you for sharing your joy in your completed projects, the challenges of deciphering patterns together, memorable life events, and your mutual passion for yarn. Being a business owner has been enjoyable, rewarding and educational, but family responsibilities are absorbing more of my time and energy.

The season has come, for a new path…retirement! And so, it is with anticipation and bittersweet emotions, that I have come to the decision to close Tangled Purls.

I want to express my gratitude to my incredible, dedicated staff and teachers. Your skills, talents, collaboration, and support have been invaluable to me, the shop, and to our customers. I thank you with all my heart. And to my husband, and my family, I am so grateful for you believing in my dream and my ability to make it happen, for your unwavering support, encouragement and guidance.

My friends, I say a heartfelt thank you for the blessings of your patronage, your inspiration, and your loyal support. I hope Tangled Purls leaves a legacy of lasting friendships, confident knitters and crocheters, and collaborative inspiration in the fiber art community. I hope you will each keep the love of the fiber arts alive by teaching someone new to knit or crochet, and I hope you will continue to stay in touch with me through the Tangled Purls Instagram page. Our last day of business will be Friday, February 8, 2019.

With gratitude,
