Celebrating the Past Year

Early November News

How is it already November 9th?! If you’re like us, you’re already underway with holiday projects. We’re padding our stashes and piling on the yarn so we can start the season off right!

Speaking of piling on the yarn, you should see the incredible new shipment of Tosh we’re putting out on the shelves tomorrow! We have sweater quantities of a huge selection of Tosh DK, Tosh Vintage and Toshmerino Light. This is the perfect time to stock up!

Tosh Tuesday

Join us this Wednesday (November 11th, 2015) for a Lunchtime Lesson with Brittney!

Have you ever wanted to learn brioche? Join Brittney for a beginner’s brioche primer. You’ll learn the basic brioche stitch which is knit flat with one color, one of the first building blocks for knitting more complex brioche projects.

This  Brioche Pop Up Class will be a fun teaser for Brittney’s upcoming Brioche Hat Class in December. Brittney will also show samples of other projects that can be made with two colors once you become experienced with the elements of the technique. The class is $5 per person and space is limited (we will not register in advance — this is a drop-in class).
Please bring a set of needles (somewhere between size 6-8) and at least 50 yards of medium weight yarn in a solid light color (anywhere between DK and Aran).
We have all kinds of wonderful things in the works for November and December, so keep checking here for updates, as well as on Facebook and on our newsletter to stay up to date with the happenings at Tangled Purls!
Don’t forget: We’re open Mondays 11 – 4 now through January.

Fall Treats!

We’re enjoying the gorgeous fall weather, cooler temperatures and rain! It’s knitting season all year, but there’s something extra special about sweater weather.

We were so sorry for those who came a little late and weren’t able to join us due to such a large turnout. We’ll be offering this session again for those who missed out, so keep an eye out here, as well as our emails and Facebook for an update on when we’ll be having it.
