We’re enjoying the gorgeous fall weather, cooler temperatures and rain! It’s knitting season all year, but there’s something extra special about sweater weather.
Join us this Friday and Saturday, October 30th and 31st, for a Pumpkin Party at Tangled Purls! We’ll have treats (no tricks!), and these adorable Wee Pumpkin Kits free with a $30 purchase (while supplies last).
Marie had a full house this week for her Lunchtime Lesson class on the provisional crochet cast-on and Russian Grafting. We were so sorry for those who came a little late and weren’t able to join us due to such a large turnout. We’ll be offering this session again for those who missed out, so keep an eye out here, as well as our emails and Facebook for an update on when we’ll be having it.
We also wrapped up the Olive Knits KAL this month, and had some gorgeous finished (and almost finished) projects from our participants. Thanks to everyone who participated and made our fall knit-a-long such a success!
Have you seen the Knitter’s Pride blocking mats? Take your blocking to the next level!
We are all smitten with brioche stitch! Brittney finished this darling hat called Vintage Prim with two balls of Jamieson Shetland. Stay tuned for a class on how to knit brioche, coming soon!
If you’re in the mood for felting (especially for quick and easy gifts!), we just brought in a wide range of new colors of Naturespun 100% wool from Brown Sheep — our favorite for felted projects!
These adorable handmade sheep ornaments are new to the shop from One of a Kind, right here in Oregon. We love these adorable tags for adorning a basket filled with yarn.
The November class list has been published and sessions are filling fast, so drop-in soon to sign up (we don’t take class registrations over the phone) so you can secure your spot! Remember that registrations close three days in advance of the class.
Be sure to follow us on Facebook and subscribe to our newsletter for updates and details on what’s new at Tangled Purls.
